Skate For Free at Wollman Rink

Location: Wollman Ice Skating Rink in Prospect Park (Enter Park at Lincoln Road & Ocean Ave., Parkside & Ocean Aves., or Flatbush Ave. & Empire Blvd)
Cost: Skating is Free, skate rental is $6
Just in time for the holiday season comes the opening of the Wollman Rink in Prospect Park. And in honor of that opening today, there will be free skating all day long! I’m sure that most of you don’t own skates, so skate rental will cost ya 6 big ones!

Growing up in Philly, First Friday was kind of a tradition ingrained in me from a very young age. So I’m glad to be telling you Williamsburg’s Every 2nd Friday. This month you can hitch a ride across the river to BK from when the Art Bus, a moving video art exhibition will run its shuttle route between the Chelsea Museum and the Williamsburg galleries (shuttle runs at 6pm and 8pm). Once in Williamsburg head to Oulu (170 North 4th) and pick up a WagMag gallery guide to help you find your way around town! Then at 9pm head back to Oulu for an art crawl after party.

Park Slope was very sad in November when they were deprived of their monthly (and possibly only) dose of dance party. Have no fear though Good Foot is back and better than ever! Tonight, DJs Morsy, Jess Jubilee and Cousin Cole take to the tables at The Royale. Should be a fun night, so stop by and say hello!

The Taste Crew is at it again, this time with we get a taste of circus life! Hidden Circus pops up their big top in Dumbo tonight with burlesque, hula hoops and body painting. Plus of course musical stylings from DJ Equal, Dhundee, Stimulus, and Jamin. It is $5 with RSVP but that gets you two hours of free Heineken!
